Maison Maubert
1. Purpose of the Agreement
This contract is exclusively intended for the booking of bed and breakfast stays at Maison Maubert, 9bis rue Daguerre, 63300 Thiers. A warm welcome awaits our guests. We are committed to personally welcoming you and providing all the necessary care and attention to facilitate your stay and your discovery of the region.
2. Length of Stay
The client signing this contract, which is concluded for a fixed term, may under no circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the agreed period.
3. Rates
The prices listed on the website are inclusive of all taxes (TTC) in euros, including the VAT applicable on the day of the order. Rates include the overnight stay and breakfast. The tourist tax, collected by the local municipality, is included in the booking price.
4. Booking and Deposit
A booking is confirmed only upon payment of a deposit equal to 100% of the total amount of the stay.
5. Cancellation by the Guest
Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email addressed to the owner.
More than [X] days before the start of the stay: the deposit shall be retained by the owner.
Less than [X] days before the start of the stay: the deposit shall be retained by the owner, who reserves the right to claim the remaining balance of the accommodation price.
If the guest does not arrive by 8:00 PM on the scheduled day: this contract shall become null and void, and the owner may relet the guest rooms.
6. Cancellation by the Owner
If Maison Maubert is forced to cancel the stay due to circumstances of force majeure, the guest will be notified by email or telephone. The guest will be immediately refunded all amounts paid.
7. Check-in and Check-out
- Arrival: Rooms are available from 5:00 PM. Please inform us in advance in case of a late arrival (after 7:00 PM).
- Departure: Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM.
8. Utilisation des lieux et Règlement intérieur
The guest agrees to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and to use them for their intended purpose.
- Smoking Policy: The entire house is strictly non-smoking.
- Occupancy Capacity: The contract is established for a specific number of guests. If the number of guests exceeds this capacity, the owner reserves the right to refuse the additional persons.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed, in order to guarantee the peace and hygiene of the premises.
9. Liability and Insurance
The guest is held liable for all damages caused by their actions. Guests are encouraged to verify that they have “holiday travel” or “vacation” insurance coverage (often included in home insurance policies). Maison Maubert declines all liability in the event of theft or loss of personal belongings within the premises.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
In accordance with the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the guest has the right to use a consumer mediation service free of charge in the event of a dispute. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) are governed by French law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Clermont-Ferrand.
